Lake View Cottage is located in the Village of Silver Lake, New Hampshire, and is situated on its shore. Silver Lake is between the Lakes Region and Mount Washington Valley, nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains. Our bed and breakfast has been an Inn since its construction in 1876 by Becky’s Great Grandfather, David Knowles. Great care was taken to restore this building and yet incorporate modern amenities for a comfortable stay. Take a book from our library to read on one of our porches, daydream in our gardens or take one of our beach towels and head for the beach. Canoe, kayak or row on the lake to see the loons or our resident Bald Eagle. In winter we are near 5 cross country and downhill ski areas, skating rinks and are directly on NH Snowmobile Corridor 19. There are many area activities and sights and always something to do. Tax free shopping is always popular! rendezvous. In Grampa David’s Room on the first floor, we can serve an
intimate breakfast in your room if you wish, or perhaps on the porch with the
glorious view of the lake. All of our rooms have lake views and all rooms

individually decorated in the Victorian cottage style.
